Description
Valve Lapping Compound is used for controlled abrasive finishing of valve seats, valve faces and other mating metal surfaces during shipboard overhaul work. Fine and coarse grades help technicians remove minor imperfections, improve contact patterns and verify seating during maintenance. The paste can be supplied in water-mixable or oil-based formulations according to the application. Grit grade, carrier type and material compatibility should be selected to avoid excessive removal or contamination of components.
