Description
The TIG Tungsten Electrode carries welding current and forms the arc in gas tungsten arc welding without becoming the primary filler metal. Different tungsten compositions and colour codes are selected for DC or AC welding of steel, stainless steel, aluminium and other compatible materials. Correct grinding and contamination control help maintain arc stability. Electrode type, diameter, length, colour code, current range, AC or DC suitability, tip preparation, package quantity and compliance with the welding procedure should be verified.
