Description
The Stainless Steel Cotter Pin provides quick retention for clevis pins, shafts, hitch pins and removable hardware connections aboard commercial vessels. Hairpin, R-clip and ring-style designs can be fitted and removed without bending both legs like a conventional split pin. The spring form must retain adequate tension throughout service. Wire diameter, overall length, pin range, profile, material grade, finish, insertion direction, vibration exposure, reuse criteria and package quantity should be selected for the connected pin and operating environment.
