Description
The Sound-Powered Telephone enables point-to-point or multi-station voice communication without relying on the vessel electrical supply. Speech energy is converted directly into an electrical signal, making the system useful during blackout, fire or other emergency conditions. Handsets and stations can connect bridge, engine control room, steering gear and emergency command locations. Circuit type, station quantity, call signalling, handset, cable, junction boxes, mounting, acoustic output and marine approval must match the emergency communication plan.
