Description
The Rocket Parachute Flare provides a high-elevation red distress signal visible over a long distance at sea. After activation, the rocket rises and deploys a bright flare beneath a parachute, extending burn time while slowing descent. It is intended for use only in genuine distress by trained personnel and must be stored in an approved dry location. Launch height, luminous intensity, burn duration, operating method, expiry date, transport classification and SOLAS approval must be confirmed.
