Description
The Red Hand Flare provides a bright close-range distress signal from a vessel, lifeboat, liferaft or rescue craft. A protected ignition system allows the user to activate the flare while holding it downwind and away from the body according to instructions. Waterproof construction supports storage in survival equipment containers. Luminous intensity, burn duration, handle design, operating instructions, expiry date, carriage restrictions and SOLAS approval must be checked before supply and replacement.
