Description
The PTFE Thread Seal Tape fills small clearances between compatible male and female threaded pipe fittings to help create a pressure-tight joint. Standard white tape suits many water and air services, while higher-density or colour-coded grades may be intended for gas, oxygen or chemical duties only when specifically approved. Correct wrapping direction and quantity are essential to avoid loose tape entering the system. Tape width, thickness, density, colour, temperature, pressure, fluid approval and thread type must match the installation procedure.
