Description
The Portable Digital Tachometer measures rotational speed on vessel motors, shafts, fans, pumps and workshop machinery. Optical models use reflective tape and a light beam for non-contact RPM readings, while contact models use interchangeable tips or wheels for shaft speed and surface velocity. Combination instruments provide both methods. Measurement range, accuracy, sensing distance, memory, display, contact adaptors, surface-speed units, response time, battery, carrying case and calibration certificate must match the rotating equipment and safe-access procedure.
