Description
The Non-Contact Voltage Detector provides a quick indication of AC voltage near compatible insulated conductors, sockets, terminals and cables without direct metallic contact. Visual, audible and vibration alerts can assist preliminary checks during vessel electrical work. Adjustable sensitivity and dual-range models help distinguish low and standard voltage circuits. The device is an indication tool and does not replace an approved contact tester for proving isolation. Detection range, sensitivity, safety category, tip design, self-test, battery and certification must suit the procedure.
