Description
The Mooring Rope Protector Sleeve shields rope eyes, splices and selected working sections from abrasion, contamination and localized wear during vessel handling. Tubular woven sleeves and split protective covers can be installed over synthetic mooring lines, tails and messenger ropes. The sleeve must fit without restricting bending or hiding critical inspection areas. Material, internal diameter, length, wall thickness, closure, ultraviolet resistance, water drainage, attachment method and compatibility with the rope construction should be selected for the exact location.
