Description
The Mixed Fiber Mooring Rope combines selected polypropylene, polyester or other synthetic fibres to balance weight, strength, abrasion resistance and elongation. It is used for routine berthing and mooring where a practical alternative to single-fibre ropes is required. Eight-strand and twelve-strand constructions can be supplied with coloured marker yarns and protected eye splices. Fibre blend, diameter, construction, minimum breaking load, elongation, length, buoyancy, end finish, chafe protection and certification must be checked against the vessel’s approved mooring arrangement.
