Description
The Mild Steel Welding Electrode is intended for shielded metal arc welding of compatible carbon-steel structures and components aboard commercial vessels. General-purpose and low-hydrogen classifications can support tack welding, fillet welds, plate repair and machinery fabrication when stored and handled correctly. Electrode classification, diameter, current range, polarity, positional capability, coating type, moisture-control requirement and package weight should be selected according to the base metal and approved welding procedure.
