Description
The Merchant National Flag identifies the vessel’s state of registration and is displayed at the stern, gaff or another designated position according to maritime practice. Flags can be produced for recognized maritime administrations in printed or sewn-panel construction. UV-resistant polyester or nylon supports exterior exposure, while reinforced hems and rope-and-toggle hoists improve service life. Country design, dimensions, fabric, stitching, colour accuracy, hoist arrangement and replacement frequency should match the vessel’s flag requirements.
