Description
The Marine Satellite Telephone provides voice and selected data communication in areas where cellular networks are unavailable. Fixed and portable terminals can support bridge calls, emergency coordination, operational contact and controlled crew communication during ocean voyages. External marine antennas improve coverage from inside the vessel, while docking stations can provide power and handset connections. Satellite network, terminal type, airtime service, antenna, power supply, data capability, accessories and installation approval should be selected for the operating area.
