Description
The Marine Firefighter Protective Suit provides layered protection against heat, flame exposure and selected moisture during shipboard firefighting. A jacket and trouser set with reflective trim, reinforced areas and adjustable closures supports trained emergency teams working in machinery, accommodation and cargo spaces. The suit must be combined with approved helmet, gloves, boots and breathing apparatus. Size, outer fabric, moisture barrier, thermal liner, certification, cleaning method and storage bag should match the vessel fire plan.
