Description
The Marine Diesel Fuel Biocide is used to control bacteria, yeast and mould in compatible diesel fuel and water bottoms. Shock and maintenance dosing programmes may be applied after contamination is confirmed by testing and the source of water ingress is addressed. Biocides require careful handling and must be compatible with the fuel, tank coating and engine system. Active chemistry, dosage, contact time, mixing, water removal, filter monitoring, storage, PPE, discharge restrictions and regulatory approval must follow the product label and SDS.
