Description
The Marine D Shackle is a compact connecting fitting intended primarily for in-line loading between chains, wire slings, lifting accessories and securing points. Its narrow body limits side movement and should not be used for multi-leg loading unless specifically approved. Screw-pin and safety-bolt versions can support temporary or permanent rigging arrangements. Body diameter, working load limit, pin type, material, internal dimensions, finish, proof testing, traceability, certificate and loading alignment must match the vessel lifting or securing procedure.
