Description
Marine Circuit Breaker protects vessel electrical circuits against overload and short-circuit conditions while allowing safe isolation for maintenance. Miniature, moulded-case and motor-protection versions can be selected for lighting, distribution, machinery and auxiliary systems. Pole count, rated current, breaking capacity and trip characteristic must coordinate with the cable and connected load. Operating voltage, frequency, mounting style, auxiliary contacts and class approval should be specified from the ship’s electrical documentation.
