Description
The Marine Bow Shackle provides a removable connection between wire slings, chain assemblies, synthetic ropes and lifting or securing points. Its rounded bow offers more internal space than a D shackle and can accommodate multiple sling eyes when permitted by the rigging plan. Screw-pin and safety-bolt versions suit temporary or longer-term connections. Shackle size, working load limit, pin type, material grade, bow dimensions, finish, proof test, certificate, traceability and loading direction must match the approved lifting or securing operation.
