Description
Heat Shrink Tubing Kit provides assorted sleeve diameters for electrical insulation and mechanical protection during vessel cable repairs and installations. Controlled heating contracts the tubing around conductors, terminals and splices to create a neat protective covering. Single-wall tubing supports general insulation, while adhesive-lined dual-wall grades improve moisture sealing. Diameter range, shrink ratio, colour selection, wall type and operating temperature should be chosen according to cable size and shipboard service conditions.
