Description
Graphite Packing provides flexible and heat-resistant stuffing-box sealing for pumps, valves and rotating equipment aboard commercial vessels. Braided expanded graphite conforms around shafts and stems, helping maintain sealing under pressure and thermal cycling. Reinforced grades with metal wire or corner fibres can improve strength in demanding applications. Cross-section, density, reinforcement, lubrication and service limits must be selected according to shaft speed, pressure, temperature and medium compatibility.
