Description
The Container Dovetail Foundation is welded into or onto a vessel deck, hatch cover or supporting structure to receive a compatible dovetail twist lock. Its profile allows the lock to slide into position and create a securing interface for an ISO container corner casting. Standard and raised designs are available for different deck arrangements. Foundation orientation, dimensions, steel grade, weld preparation, load rating, surface finish, drainage, installation tolerance, inspection and compatibility with the selected twist lock must be verified.
