Description
CAT 183-8597 High Output Magnetic Speed Sensor is a passive device that requires no external power supply. Its AC output voltage and frequency vary with the speed of the target surface, supporting speed measurement in selected engine, camshaft and transmission applications. The aluminium sensor has a 3/4-16 thread, two-pin connection, 3.25-inch overall length and 5.91-inch lead; it is not recommended below 50 rpm. CAT public fitment identifies the 3616 gen-set engine. Confirm target geometry, air gap, connector, serial number and CAT SIS arrangement.
