Description
The Cargo Securing Wire provides flexible high-strength restraint for machinery, steel products, timber and project cargo during sea transport. Galvanized wire rope can be cut to length and supplied plain, looped or fitted with thimbles and ferrules for connection to deck points and tensioning devices. Construction affects flexibility and abrasion resistance. Wire diameter, rope construction, core, length, minimum breaking load, end termination, finish, proof test, identification, bend radius and compatibility with the approved securing plan must be verified.
