Description
The Cargo Edge Protector separates lashing equipment from sharp or abrasive cargo edges that could cut webbing, damage wire or create concentrated pressure. Long-angle, sleeve and heavy-duty reinforced designs can be used on steel products, machinery, timber packs and fabricated cargo. The protector also helps distribute securing force across the contact area. Protector type, material, length, internal angle, lashing type, load resistance, retention method, temperature range, reuse and suitability for the cargo surface must be selected.
